Platform
The mission of the HDTC is to promote the election of party candidates at the town, district and state level that will help ensure the growth, success and well being of the citizens of Hopkinton. We believe in cooperation and inclusion of all to achieve collective goals and move the town in a positive direction.The HDTC platform goals are as follows:
Support state and national Democratic Party platforms with a focus on policies that directly impact Hopkinton residents and businesses while supporting logical economic growth along with development which helps to preserve our town's rural character.
Encourage civic engagement of Hopkinton citizens through participation in local boards, meetings, and inclusive, informed decision-making processes that foster productive, fact-based discussions.
Support top-quality, evidence-based public education at Chariho by promoting the needs of students, teachers and staff, while ensuring the system adapts to the evolving needs of learners and fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Value the benefits of affordable and accessible health care along with mental health wellness and support for all citizens.

Sharon Davis
Hopkinton Town Council
Sharon is committed to making our community more accessible, fiscally responsible, and safe for all. By listening to residents, advocating for road repairs and handicap-accessible transportation, securing funding for community improvements without raising taxes, and ensuring smart budgeting to protect essential services like ambulances and public works, they are dedicated to building a stronger future for everyone.
Kevin Lambert
Candidate, Town Council
Kevin is a software engineer and 29-year Hopkinton resident who believes in transparency by design. An Eagle Scout and animal rescue volunteer, he's running to give residents real visibility into how their town is run, not decisions made behind closed doors.
Rick Wucik
Candidate, Town Council
Rick has farmed the land and raised his family on Main Street in Ashaway since 2012. A Cub Scout Den Leader and Hopkinton Recreation youth basketball coach, he's running to protect Hopkinton's rural character and end the closed-door deals at Town Hall.
Gregg Avedisian
Candidate, Chariho School Committee
Gregg brings prior School Committee experience and a track record of real transparency in local governance. He's running because Hopkinton's kids deserve a School Committee that invests in public education and puts them first.
Justin Bentley
Candidate, Chariho School Committee
Justin is a 26-year science educator and lifelong Chariho resident who grew up in the district he now teaches in. As a parent and a "Chariho Lifer," he's running to put students back at the center of every decision the committee makes.
